Funeral – The funeral obsequies of the late Dr. Isaac A. Davenport took place yesterday at Trinity church, the services being performed by Rev. Mr. Burton. The large church was densely crowded with the friends of the deceased, who came to pay the last sad respects to the departed. At the close of the services the funeral cortege headed for the farm which belonged to Dr. Davenport, a few miles southwest of the city, where the remains were committed to their last resting place in obedience to a special request made by the deceased just prior to his death. The funeral was very numerously attended.
