Wassaic - Linda Joyce Stevenson, 68, a lifelong resident of Wassaic, NY died on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at her home in Wassaic, NY. Mrs. Stevenson was a secretary at Taconic DDSO for 33 years retiring in 2005.

Born on June 4, 1947 in Hobart, NY she was the daughter of the late Eli and Mildred (Churchill) Warner. On July 3, 1965 in Wassaic, NY she married John W. Stevenson who survives at home. Mrs. Stevenson was a very giving and compassionate person. She was also a member of the Valley Community Church in Clinton Corners, NY.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Stevenson is survived by two daughters, Holly D. Boeding and her husband, Alan, of Copake, NY and Kari Onyango and her husband, Reuben, of Suffern, NY and a brother, Earl Warner of Poughquag, NY. She is also survived by four grandchildren, James, Katharine and Jennessa Boeding and Grace Onyango.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2015 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Amenia Island Cemetery in Amenia, NY.
