September 12, 1922 - July 25, 2006

Donald Lee Arms, age 83, a resident of Hamilton, Missouri and a former resident of Breckenridge, Missouri, passed away on July 25, 2006 at Hillcrest Manor, Hamilton, Missouri. He was born September 21, 1922, the son of Harry E. and Elizabeth (Hopkins) Arms in Breckenridge, Missouri. On December 19, 1943 he was united in marriage to Maxine Ellis. She preceded him in death on March 16, 2003. Donald was a member of the Grandview United Methodist Church and regularly attended the Assembly of God Church in Breckenridge, Missouri. He served on numerous boards and was one of the first participants in the University of Missouri Extension Record Keeping Mail-In Program. He is survived by two sister-in-laws, Bernice Ziemann of Okeechobee, Florida and Collene Keene of Lakewood, Colorado; nine nieces; two nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Ralph; and three sisters, Rachel, Martha, and Mary. Services was held at Pitts Funeral Home in Breckenridge, Missouri on Friday, July 28, 2006 at 10:30 a. m.. The Officiant was Pastor Darlene Johnson. Pallbearers were Steve Grooms, Phil Alborn, Brandon Grooms, Ed Estabrook, Michael Bolli, E. J. Estabrook and Dr. Paul Geiger. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Breckenridge, Missouri.
