HORSESHOE BEND — Services for Harris Leland Trent, 77, of Horseshoe Bend, who died of an apparent heart attack at his home Monday will he conducted at 2 p.m. today at Grace Lutheran Church in Horseshoe Bend by the Rev. E. F. G. Meyer. Interment will be at Pioneer Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Beatty Chapel.
Mr. Trent was born Jan. 31, 1893, at Putnam County, Mo. In 1938 he moved to Nampa and in 1944 to Roseberry near Round Valley. He moved to Horseshoe Bend in 1966 where he had since resided. He was a farmer and a veteran of World War I. He married Mae Scott at Stahl, Mo., Nov. 19, 1919.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, George Wilson Trent of Melba, Leland J. Trent of Cascade, Robert Trent of Donnelly and Clyde Trent of Horseshoe Bend; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Skreen of Portland, and Mrs. Louise McGrath of Nampa; two brothers, John Trent of Emmett and Elta Trent of Bozeman, Mont.; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Stockton of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Lucy Thorn of Iowa; and 11 grandchildren.
