He owned and operated Seth Ford Carpets in Lake Park with his family from 1967 until his retirement in 1987.
He was a Lieutenant in the Navy and served in World War II and the Korean War.
He built a home in Hiawassee, GA on Lake Chatuge, where he spent many summers with his family. He enjoyed playing golf, boating, games with the family and bowling.
