Mrs. Vito DiMilia Dies Suddenly
Mrs. Maria Luigia Faspiggi [sic] DiMilia, wife of Vito Antonio DiMilia, of 507 North James Street, died suddenly at the Peekskill Hospital at 5:25 this morning.
She suffered a stroke yesterday morning at her home and was removed to the Peekskill Hospital where she failed to recover.
Mrs. DiMilia was born in Calitri, Provincia of Avellino, Italy, on November 17, 1895. She ,was the daughter of the late Cesare and Mariannia Lampariello Fespiggi [sic]. She had lived in Peekskill since 1930.
Surviving are her husband, Vito Antonio DiMilia; one son, Ralph, of Peekskill; one daughter,
Mrs. Gabriel (Anna) Dziadik, of Peekskill; one brother, Frank, of Montclair, N. J.; one sister, Mrs.
Lucia DiNapolia, of Italy; and five grandchildren.
The funeral services will be held Thursday, September 6, at 9 A. M. from the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, 414 Washington Street, and at 10 A. M. at the Church of the Assumption where a high Mass of requiem will be said. Interment will be made in Assumption Cemetery.
