Rowena Louise Green, age 51, of Salem, Illinois, formerly of Flora, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

Rowena was born April 16, 1964, in Olney, Illinois, the daughter of Robert and Modena (Gaines) Green. She was a dedicated employee for over 25 years at Murray Developmental Center in Centralia, and was formerly married to Brad Eastin for 28 years.

She is survived by her mother: Modena Green of Flora; two sons: Matthew Eastin (Ashley) of Salem and Joshua Eastin (Rexann) of Salem; four grandchildren who she dearly loved; siblings: Ruby, Charlene, Rhonda, Robert, Rosalie, Roland, Rick, Randy, and Roger; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers: Ronnie and Ronald.

A graveside service for Rowena Green will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Powers Cemetery, Xenia, with visitation from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.

Pastor Bruce Horsley will officiate.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
