Norma Jean Sutlive Weldon was born April 7, 1943 in Carthage, Texas. She was born to Augustis Otice and Mary Pauline Fuller Sutlive. She started schools in Carthage and graduated from Beckville High School in 1961 and then attended Cosmetology School. Norma Jean was a lifelong member of the Walnut Springs Baptist Church. She was knowledgeable in many skills from Taxidermy, knitting, quilting, ceramics, and used her many talents as owner and operator of Carthage Flower Shop. Norma Jean married Jack Mitchell “Mitch” Weldon April 17, 1998 and they enjoyed 14 years of marriage together. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Bobby Glenn Sutlive, and sister Zyral Wynn.
