Dean Y. Little died on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at his residence. He was born on November 13, 1925, the son of Matilda (Landis) Little and William G. Little. He is survived by a sister, Alberta Young and 4 stepchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Nau Little.

In 1943 at the age of 17, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving in the Pacific Theater of Operations. He was discharged in 1946 as a 1st Class Ship Fitter and a 1st Class Deep Sea Diver. Following his military service, Dean worked for the American Oil Company and Consolidated Freightways. In 1964, Dean opened Little's Beverage Distributor in Columbia, PA. Upon retirement in 1982, he moved to Brogue, PA where he resided until 2009. He then resided at St. John's Herr Estate in Columbia, PA. Dean was an active member of numerous Veterans and local Social Organizations.

Interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of the family with Full Military Honors. Arrangements by the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc., Columbia/Landisville, 684-2370 or 898-2240.
