UNION - Karen Beth Lawson Grady, 41, of 3865 Cross Keys Highway died March 29, 2000, at her home.

A native of Union, she was the daughter of Joyce Manley Lawson of Union and the late James "Willie" Lawson.

She was a member of Padgett's Creek Baptist Church. She graduated from high school in St. Cloud, Fla., and was employed as manager of Union Elk's Lodge #1321 and was a member of Union Drove #148, B.P.O. Does.

Also surviving are her husband, Hugh Grady; two daughters, Jennifer Armstrong of Union and Cynthia Armstrong of Sparr, Fla.; two sons, Dana and David Grady, both of Union; two sisters, Edith Cool of Ocoee, Fla., and Deborah Cool of Kissimmee, Fla.; and five grandchildren.

Services will be held at 4 p.m. today at Padgett's Creek Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. C.J. Calvert and the Rev. Melvin Hudson. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 3 p.m.

The family is at the home of a sister-in-law, Nell Fore, 4208 Cross Keys Highway, Union.
