Al worked for the tribe for years as a driver and supervisor in their shuttle department. More recently, he drove taxi for Astro Taxi. He enjoyed seeing and talking with so many people throughout each day.
He loved watching sports and talking about them with his friends. He also loved spending days at the casino, living life the way that he wanted.
Al is survived by many family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alpheus and Minnie, and his siblings, Mable Ninham Christjohn, Lillie Mae John-Schuyler, Grace Bear, Mary Stevens-Wilbur and Clifford Christjohn.
Family and friends may visit on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 N. Tenth St, De Pere. A short prayer service will close the visitation time. Burial will follow at Holy Apostles Cemetery.
