Graveside services for Faye D. Murphy, 87, of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of East Moline, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 1, at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, in the mausoleum.

Mrs. Murphy died Friday, June 16, 2006, at Regent Care Medical Center, San Antonio.
Faye Niewald was born Dec. 6, 1918, in Wesley, Iowa, the daughter of Ray and Pearl Castler Niewald. She married John Murphy July 1, 1939, in Albert Lea, Minn. He died May 4, 1990.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Ann and Mickey Calverley, San Antonio, Jonette and Donald Johnson, Ankeny, Iowa; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Sherry Murphy, Moline; five grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren; eight stepgreat-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one stepgreat-great-grandchild; sisters, Buena Hearity, Mason City, Iowa, Abbie Jane Niver, Mason City. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Verna Dunn.
