Eva May (Russell) Henson left this world to be with our Lord on March 10, 2016, peacefully in her sleep with her loving husband, George R. Henson, by her side. Eva was born on May 18, 1930, in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to parents, John Russell and Charles Lottie (Meredith) Russell.

She married her cowboy, George R. Henson, on February 21, 1953 and she and George spent much of their 63 years of marriage travelling between Oklahoma and Texas to spend time with their large family. Finally settling in Mt. Herman, Oklahoma, Eva enjoyed her role as matriarch of her family, consisting of four children, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one sister, three brothers, two nieces, and six nephews. Always in her heart, her family was the center of her life. Eva loved spending time with her friends and family camping at the lake, playing cards, fishing, and playing dominoes and wahoo.

Eva is preceded in death by parents John Russell and Charles Lottie (Meredith) Russell and one granddaughter, Brandi Henson.

She is survived by husband, George R. Henson; Sister, Bulah Wilbanks; brother, Johnny Russell and his wife Wanda, brother James Russell and his wife Sharon; son, George; daughter, Katherine and her husband Gary; son, Stevie Ray and daughter Linda; grandchildren, Wendy, Mandy, Misty, Charlie, Kyle, Amber, and Clay; great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Madi, Seth, Ethan, and Gavin, special nieces Belinda and Dana, and nephews, Raymond, James, Randy, Andy, Jeffrey.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 14, 2016 at 2:00 pm, at the Brumley Funeral Home Chapel with Anthony Warnes and Randy Russell offiating. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
