He was a process checker for Lucent Technologies, Allentown, for 32 years until retiring.
Born in Coaldale, he was a son of the late Joseph and Anna (Graziano) Bochicchio.
He was also a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, the V.F.W. Post and the New Columbus Fire Company, all of Nesquehoning.
Bochicchio was an Army veteran, having served with the 507th T Op in Greenland.
Surviving are two sons, Peter Jr., and his wife, Wendy, of Nesquehoning, and Joseph of Bethlehem; three sisters, Ursula, wife of Sal Digilio of Nesquehoning, Antonina Palia of Spring Field, N.J., and Ann Marie, wife of Skip Christ of Glendora, Calif.; three grandchildren, Izabella and Nicolas Bochicchio and Bradley Buzzard; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a son Chucky.
Service: Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Nesquehoning, with the Rev. K.A. Medve officiating. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Nesquehoning. Call Saturday 9:30-11 a.m. Saturday in the church. Rosary recitation 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Contributions in his name may be made to the church, c/o 15 E. Garibaldi Ave., Nesquehoning, Pa. 18240. Arrangements by Joseph S. Blazosky Funeral Home, 81 E. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning.
