Services for Glenn B. Green, 83, of 114 S.W. Lacona Ave., will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dunn's Funeral Home, 5400 S.W. Ninth St. Burial will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Green died Saturday at Medicenter of America, 233 University Ave., of a heart ailment after a four-month illness.
Mr. Green, born in Traer, lived in Des Moines for 72 years. He was an engineer on the Chicago Great Western Railroad and retired in 1960.
Mr. Green was a member of the Methodist Church and the Adelphic Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include two sons, Glenn, Jr., of Atlantic and Ralph of Des Moines; two daughters, Mrs. Harriet Smith of Indianola and Mrs. Ruth Bice of Des Moines; four brothers, Harvey of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Bennett of Browerville, Minn, Carl of Minneapolis, Minn., and Andy of Des Moines; 19 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
