Memorial services for Glenn "Bottles" White, 87, of Lamesa will be held Sunday, March 13, 2016 2:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Sam Lanham officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. Glenn passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in Lubbock, Texas. He was born on April 9, 1928 to William and Myrtle (Johnson) White in Lamesa, Texas. Glenn served in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1950-1952. He was a graduate from the University of Baylor. He married Doniece Cline in Floydada, Texas on August 6, 1953 they were married 62 years. He was part-owner of W.G. White Gin and Warehouse. He served as Dawson County Judge for 8 years and was a past member of Lions Club. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church for many years. Glenn is survived by his wife, Doniece White of Lamesa; children, Jane White of Dallas, Martha White of Houston, Bill White of San Antonio; 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Betty Morgan and Billie Scott. Family suggests memorials to a charity of your choice.
