EBY, Herbert - Passed away on November 27, 2008, at Lanark Heights Nursing Home, at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Norma (Schmitt) Eby for 63 years. Loving father of Tim and Myrna Eby, Connie and Paul Wittig, all of Kitchener, Greg Eby and Phil Lanouette of Toronto. Grandfather of Tracey (nee Eby) and James Goodchild, Chad and Jill Wittig and Josh Wittig. Great-grandfather of Sebastien, Danica and Maya Goodchild and Charlie Wittig. Brother of Miriam Knutson and brother-in-law of Hilda Eby. Predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Isabella Eby; his sisters, Dorothy (Alex) Baird, Rose (Edward) Dorscht, Verna (Sid) Storer, Irvin, Nelson (Hilda), Carl (Mildred), Jake (Helen) and brother-in-law, Bill Knutson. A celebration of Herb's life will be held in the chapel of the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467, on Sunday, November 30, 2008, at 2 p.m. The burial has already taken place.
