Ted was born on Oct. 8, 1943, here in Pueblo, to Theodore and Rhoda Phillips. After graduating from East High School in 1961, he enlisted and served four years in the United States Air Force. He returned to Pueblo and started working at Abex Corp., where he continued to work for 48 years until retiring in 2013. He was a lifelong Puebloan who will be greatly missed by a long list of lifelong friends. Ted loved many things like the Yankees, Packers, Buffs and NASCAR, just to name a few. His pride and joy were his grandchildren. He lived his life to the fullest and died doing what he loved most of all, riding his Harley. “Dad, live to ride, ride to live.” Ted was preceded in death by his wife of 17 years, Kathy; and parents, Theodore and Rhoda Phillips. Ted is survived by his children, Ted Lee Jr. (Debbie) and Tona; his grandchildren, Tyler Lee, Taylor, Bridget Lee and Sammy. Also survived by his significant other, Jo, and her children, Jay (Twyla) and Julie, and grandchildren, Harley and Ivy. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium.
