Billy L. Lancaster, 60, Rocky Fork (rural Parke County), died Monday morning at his residence. He was the son of Clyde and Louise Keyt Lancaster. A Van Buren High School graduate, he worked for 12 years as a printer at the Terre Haute Tribune Star. After attending Ivy Tech to become an electronic technician, he was employed in that field at Rose-Hulman Institute for 20 years. He also worked intermittently as a self-employed logger. On Oct. 14, 1961, he married the former Frannie McGinty, and she preceded him in death Feb. 20, 1990. He was also preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Freddie Lancaster. Survivors include two sons, Jon W. Lancaster, Brazil, and Jeffry D. Lancaster, Columbia, Mo.; a daughter, Jane Atterson and husband Monty, Brazil; a brother, Charles Lancaster, Bonita Springs, Fla.; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
