PORTSMOUTH -- Charles William Lumber, 92, of the 500 block of Dinwiddie St., a retired electrician, died April 3, 1990, in a hospital.
Mr. Lumber, a native of Lowland, N. C., had retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard.
Survivors include a daughter, Eudora L. Lane of Montpelier, Vt., 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Portsmouth Catholic Cemetery by the Rev. T.M. Frye. Brennan-Morlino Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
