He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anna Conrad Kennedy, and the following children: John M. Kennedy, Frederick; Corp. J. Sewell Kennedy, someplace in Africa; Pfc. Robert E. Kennedy, Camp Polk, Louisiana; Pvt. William A. Kennedy, Ft. Belvoir, Va.; and Miss Kathryn R. Kennedy, at home; two grandchildren; sisters and brother: Sister Mary Anne, Mt. Washington, Md.; Ernest F. Kennedy, Frederick; and Mrs. Quinn Topper, Emmitsburg; and augh, Miss Susie Poole, Frederick.
He had been associated with the Ox Fibre Brush Company for a period of 37 years, being one of its oldest employes, and acted as foreman of one of the departments. He took a great interest in sports, being especially interested in football and baseball. He possessed a fine tenor singing voice, having formerly been a member of St. John's choir. During the days of amateur mistrels, the deceased took an active part in many of the shows given locally, being one of the solosits. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and Holy Name Society, and the Junior Fire Company.
Services with a high mass of requiem were held in St. John's Church; burial was in St. John's Cemetery; C.E. Cline & Son wre the funeral directors.
