Cheri L. Downey, 53, of Avon, passed away March 9, 2016. She was born in Indianapolis, on September 10, 1962 to Charles and Marilyn (Richie) Downey. Cheri was a licensed practical nurse. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Downey. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 2:30 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may call from 12:30 pm until time of service. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Survivors include mother, Marilyn Downey;brother, Chuck Downey;sister, Pam (Max) Gregory;2 nieces.
