Marvin Ray Cline, Sr, 78 of Bradley passed away on Saturday, May 4th 2013 in Huntington, WV following a long illness.

Marvin was the son of the late George Cline and Maggie Gilkeson Cline.

Marvin was a retired coal miner, mechanic and mill worker who spent his retirement enjoying his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also enjoyed mowing his yards, playing with his fur babies, and cooking out on his grill. Marvin was a hard worker that painted the picture of the ideal family man.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Catherine Virginia Rice Cline, a son Marvin Ray "Buddy" Cline, a daughter Marlene Maggie Cline Wriston, his brothers Gary and David Cline, and a great grandson, David Wriston, III.

Those left to cherish his memory are his companion and friend Agatha Wriston of Kingston, his daughter Becky Hamro and husband Ernest "Butch" of Bluefield, daughter Pamela Byrge of Bluefield, a son-in-law David A. Wriston Sr. and fiancé Beverly Watts of Bradley, numerous grandchildren and step grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews
that he loved very much.

Pallbearers will be David Wriston, II, Derek Wriston, Cecil Whitt, Billy Whitt, Matthew Sowder and Danny Shelton.

“He was a good man”.

Services will be Wednesday, May 8th 2013 at Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley at 1 PM with the Pastors Bill Vest and Arlotte Stover officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 6 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
