Donna R. Plymate, 51, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin.
She was born Nov. 21, 1964, to Thomas A. Weintraut and Helen(Thibo)Weintraut in Rushville. She married Roy W. Plymate Sr. on Nov. 19, 1990, and he preceded her in death Nov. 24, 2005.
Survivors include her son, Timothy Plymate and friend, Britney Jones, of Fairland; two brothers; Thom Weintraut Jr. and husband, John Roberts, of Auburn, Alabama; and Michael D. Weintraut of Shelbyville; sister, Norma Quick of Shelbyville; three nieces and nephews; and several other family members by marriage.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Mrs. Plymate was a lifetime resident of the area.
She graduated from North Decatur High School in 1983.
Mrs. Plymate was a homemaker. She attended Cornerstone Christian Fellowship.
She was a cancer survivor and was involved in Relay for Life.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, 2016, at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, 7414 E. Michigan Road, Waldron.
Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Friday at the church, with Pastor George Mitchell officiating.
Burial will be at Fairland Cemetery in Fairland.
