Lynette Ann Smith, age 53, of Menomonie, WI, passed away Monday, March 7, 2016, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, WI.
She was born October 30, 1962, in Menomonie, WI, to Alan K. and Carol A. (Johnson) Smith. She grew up in Menomonie and attended Menomonie High School. Lynette enjoyed flowers, fishing, pontooning, coloring and spending time with family. She also loved Halloween.
Lynette is survived by her parents, Alan and Carol Smith; her daughter, Alyssa (Justin) Smith; her longtime partner, Shaun Hovland; her brother, Troy (Laura) Smith; her sisters, Lisa (Tim) Wolfe and LeAnn (Jeff) Coss; many nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Willis and Gladys Smith and Edward and Gladys Johnson; and an aunt, Eunice Peterson.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2016, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Menomonie with Pastoral Assistant Sarah Miller officiating. Burial will be in Norton Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Tainter, Dunn County, WI. There will be visitation at the church from Noon until time of service on Friday. Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie is serving the family.
