The life of this beautiful lady with the million-dollar smile started this side of heaven on June 17, 1951.

Polly joined her Lord and Savior for all eternity on March 7, 2016 with her family by her side.

Polly was born in Havre, Montana to Delbert and Louise Schnitzmeier and was the oldest of six where she grew up working on the family farm and attending school in Havre. The family moved to Spokane, WA for Polly's senior year of high and graduated from Shadle Park in 1969. Later that year Polly started her forty-one career in the eye care profession at the Spokane Eye Clinic where she eventually met her husband Tim. Before retiring in 2012, Polly spent the last thirty-two years working in the practice of Peter Zimmerman, MD in Idaho Falls.

Polly and Tim raised her three beautiful daughters Terra, Cindy and Michelle through high school, college and marriage which resulted in four loving grandsons, Hunter, Owen, Connor and Ian as well as two grand dogs, Yogi and Yawkey.

In order to be close to family, Polly and Tim moved to Boise in February 2015. When in Boise, she continued decorating for her two favorite holidays, Fourth of July and Christmas. Even with her magical touch for decorating, many years it took the entire month of December to finish decorating.

Being the quintessential people person, Polly touched so many lives throughout her life and career. But spending time with her family brought the greatest joys in life.

Polly is survived by her husband Tim, her daughters Terra Inman, Cindy (Mike) Sevieri, and Michelle (Jason) Dodge; grandsons Hunter and Owen Inman, Connor and Ian Sevieri and grand dog Yawkey; father Delbert Schnitzmeier; sisters Patty (Emery) Matsko, Peggy (Del) Beck, Debbie Smith; brothers John (Shelly) Schnitzmeier and Carl (Debra) Schnitzmeier; mother-in law Virginia Russell; brother-in law Tom (Elise) Russell; sister-in-law Jeanne (Greg) Lancaster and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding Polly to heaven was her mother Louise Burnham and Papa Gary Burnham; her paternal and maternal grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins; and father-in law Herb Russell. In honor of a life well loved, memorials/donations can be made to Ten Mile Christian Church and/or Idaho Humane Society. Services will be held at 1 pm at Ten Mile Christian Church, 3500 W. Franklin Rd., Meridian, 83642. Interment will be in the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery.

A special thanks to the nurses at downtown MSTI infusion center and to the St. Luke’s Hospice nurses and aides.
