Paul Wofford Bush, age 91, of Chesnee, SC passed away on Monday, March 7, 2016 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

He was born February 9, 1925 in Spartanburg County the son of the late Paul J. and Luna Lawter Bush and also was the husband of the late Julia Etta Hughey Bush. Mr. Bush attended Graham Chapel Wesleyan Church, was the retired owner of Wofford Bush Alignment, a Mason, a Shriner and a U.S. Army veteran of WW II. He was an outdoorsman, a beekeeper; owned and exhibited Tennessee Walking horses and was a self-made independent man.

Survivors include his daughter, Debby Bush Hutchins (Steve Cothran) of Chesnee; a sister, Bettye Poole of Laurel, MD; four grandchildren, Julie Price, Jamie Mintz, Shawn Hutchins and Amanda King; eight great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; his companion and special friends, Wanda Henderson and her family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 54 years; a son, Randall W. Bush; a daughter, Linda Bush Blanton and four brothers, Alvis, Alton, Lee and Leo Bush

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 1:30 pm at Graham Chapel Wesleyan Church officiated by Pastor Preston Edmonds. Burial will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Price, Shawn Hutchins, Jamie Mintz, Justin Mintz, Dennis Fleming and Tony Cash

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Dr., Spartanburg, SC 29303 or Mobile Meals of Spartanburg, 419 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29302
