Regina E. Stodola, 97, Wausau, mother of two Stevens Point women, died Sunday, March 6, 2016, at Acorn Hills Senior Living in Mosinee. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Mosinee, with the Rev. Donald Przybylski officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Catholic Cemetery in Mosinee. Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the services. Memorials in her name may be directed to the family. Beste Funeral Home in Mosinee assisted with arrangements. Mrs. Stodola was born Dec.13, 1918, in Norske in the town of Harrison in Waupaca County, a daughter of the late Andrew and Stella (Elbrant) Stanislawski. She was married to Chester P. Dulak Sept. 10, 1934, at St. Adalbert Church in Rosholt. He died in 1985. After the marriage they moved to the Mosinee area where they farmed and raised potatoes. In 1975 they sold the farm and moved to Edgar to operate Edgar Welding and Machine. After her husband’s death in 1985, she moved to Green Bay. She was later married to Frank Stodola. He died 10 years later. She moved back to Edgar for a short time, then went to live with her brother, Joe, on the family homestead in the Rosholt area. When her brother moved into assisted living, she moved back to the Mosinee area where she lived with family until she moved into assisted living. She was a member of St. Monica’s Society of Catholic Foresters, St. Vincent de Paul Society and a special minister of Communion. Survivors include three sons, Henry (Carole) Dulak, Mesa, Ariz., Tom (Charlene) Dulak, Mosinee, and Peter (Lynn) Dulak, Red Wing, Minn.; seven daughters, Sister Sally Dulak and Dorothy (Frank) Hunt, both of Stevens Point; Joan (Karl) Swartz, Brandon, Fla., Frances (Al Birnschein) Richter, Sturgeon Bay, Aggie (Jeff) Cole, Las Vegas, Nev., Donna (Ron) Lemmer and Toni (Jerry) Schneeberger, both of Edgar; the Stodola family, Mary (Pat) Vanden Heuval, Green Bay, John (Oti) Stodola, Mesa, Ariz., and Jeanne Stodola, Green Bay; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Joseph and Daniel; two brothers, Joe and Roman Stanislawski; one sister, Martha Trzebiatowski; and Frank Stodola’s son, Roger Stodola.
