RYDER, Iris Booker, 91, departed this life on March 7, 2016. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of nearly 63 years, Ralph C. "Bud" Ryder. She is survived by six children and their spouses, Linda Durham (Mike), Joe Ryder (June), Betty Mooney (Ernest), Cathy Robins (Chris), Janet Ryder and Paul Ryder (Christinna); 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Uldine Curtis and Mae Clarke; numerous other family and friends. Iris was a devoted and loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and sister. The family was blessed to have her and will cherish precious memories. The family will receive friends 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 10, at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., and where a funeral ceremony will be held 2 p.m. Friday, March 11, followed by internment in Dale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to goredforwomen.org (an affiliation of American Heart Association).
