Mary Jane Haag, 107, passed away after a long life on Dec. 23, 2009.

She was born in 1902 in Ekron, Kentucky and graduated from St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington in 1923.

Mary Jane was a registered nurse and I-V therapist at St. Thomas Hospital, retiring in 1972 with thirty years service.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie in 1960; daughter, Janet Duhagon; daughter-in-law, Ann Noonan Haag; granddaughters, Barbara Dilley and Mary Helen Haag. Her warm smile and zest for life will be sadly missed by her son, John "Jack" and his wife, Mary Ann; her loving grandchildren, Kathleen (Tom) Edwards, Jim (Debbie) Haag, Tom (Toni) Haag, John Haag, Joe (Dena) Haag, Ed (Veronica) Haag; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Calling hours Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:30 at the Ciriello and Carr Falls Chapel (810 Portage Tr.), followed by Mass of Christian Burial, 2 p.m., at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made to the St. Joseph's School Education Fund.
