Aaron A. Fisher, 30 of North Liberty died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, March 7, 2016.

Memorial services will be held at 2pm Sunday, March 13, 2016, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City where there will be visitation one hour prior to the services and following the services. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Aaron's memory to support causes important to him and his family. Aaron Adam Fisher was born April 19, 1985, in San Antonio, TX the son of Rory A. and Nadine K. (Thiel) Fisher. The family moved to the Iowa City area where he graduated from City High School, and later received his degree from the University of Iowa. Aaron has been employed by Dan's Overhead Door of North Liberty for the past number of years, a job that he really enjoyed and did well with.

He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing at the family cabin in Wisconsin and hunting. Aaron liked many forms of music, and he was known for his great sense of humor and love for all!

Aaron loved to be with his family. He was our world, the light of our life, and he brightened our days always by his incredible sweet and loving ways. Aaron was a very loving son and friend to many. We loved Aaron with all of our heart and soul and we will miss him dearly.

His family includes his parents, Rory and Nadine; grandmother, Betty J. Fisher; aunt, Linda Johansen (Jim); uncle, Ross Fisher (Karen) and many cousins, and friends around the United States.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willard and Iris Thiel; grandfather, Dorian Fisher; and uncle, Jeffrey Thiel.
