Mrs. Letha Coker Gentry, 76, of Barry, passed away Monday, March 7, 2016, at Country Meadows Nursing & Rehab Center in Corsicana. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at Corley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 10, 2016, at the Corley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Russell Reed officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery.
Letha was born in Corsicana, Texas, to the late Augustus Bernice and Francis Emily Coker. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gentry; and a sister, Brenda Coker.
Survivors include her sons, Greg Dyess of Waldorf, MD, and Kevin Gentry, of Corsicana; stepson, Chris Gentry, of Kemp; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Francis Bridger, of Barry, and Tommie Jones and husband, James, of Corsicana; sister-in-law, Marilyn Greer and husband, James, of Corsicana; brothers-in-law, Joe Coker, of Barry, and Carl Gentry and wife, Jerry, of Desoto; other relatives and many friends.
