Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Park with Full Military Honors.
Mr. Bell was a life-long resident of North Augusta and member of the First Baptist Church of North Augusta. He retired as a Master Sergeant E-7 with the United States Air Force after 20 years of service. Mr. Bell served in Desert Shield and Desert Strom and was a member of the Air Force Association, Sergeant’s Association, the Jesse C. Lynch Memorial American Legion Post #71, American Legion Riders and the Patriot Guard. He also formerly worked as a security guard for the Morris Museum of Art.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Lois Carol Bell, North, Augusta, SC; a son, Rex Ivan Bell, II (Kelley), Augusta, GA; two sisters, Beverly Sproles, Augusta, GA and Cheryl Schmidtbauer, Augusta, GA; three grandchildren, Amber Bell, Jonah Rigdon and Jacob Rigdon.
