Services for James H. (Jimmy) Hogue, of Monroe will be at 10:00AM Thursday, March 10, 2016 in the Mulhearn Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Joe Senn officiating. Burial will follow in the Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home-Rayville.

Jimmy Hogue passed away peacefully on March 7, 2016 at the age of 84 surrounded by his son- Greg and his most dearest friend-Judy Carr.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 42 years-Virginia Hogue; daughter-Holly Hogue Barham; his parents-Charles and Edna Dishongh Hogue; a brother-Bill Hogue; and a sister-Bonnie Goodwin.

Left to cherish his memories is Judy Carr-his most dearest friend and companion from Tyler, TX; his son-Greg Hogue and wife Liz. His greatest love were his grandchildren-Austin Hogue and wife Ginny, Jordan Hogue Wilkinson and her husband Kyle and grandson-Bailey Hogue. He was here to see the birth of his great grand-daughter-Holly Wilkinson on November 6, 2015.

He was a retired teacher, coach, and administrator. Also a member of the Arkansas National Guard. Honorably discharged in 1957.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the ICU staff at Glenwood Medical Center for their compassionate care. Also would like to thank Dr. David Thompson who took great care of Coach Hogue these last few years.

Pallbearers will be Jim McConathy, Kyle Wilkinson, Austin Hogue, Adam McConathy, and Bailey Hogue.

Visitation will be from 9:00 until service time Thursday, March 10, 2016 in the Mulhearn chapel.
