Joella, a native of Lenoir,a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend was an inspiration to all who knew her. She lived life to the fullest and always spoke words of love and wisdom. She leaves a legacy that speaks to always treating others with respect and grace. She would always open her door to anyone in need and was convinced that there was no problem so big that a bowl of ice cream couldn't fix it. She loved to spend time with her family and friends and would encourage us to live life to the fullest. She taught us the meaning of the word compassion and took great pride in the work she did for Hospice of Caldwell County. While being an amazing nurse was her career, her faithfulness to being a wonderful sister, mother and grandmother were her passions.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Early Shore, her mother, Haley Ellen Lovins Price Corley, her brother Edward Price her sister Mildred Fox, her sister Ruby Hall, her daughter-in-law Teresa Shore and her granddaughter Jennifer I. Shore.
Those left to cherish her memory along with many friends are her sons, Charles Edward Shore "Chuck", Stuart David Shore and Micheal Wayne Shore; her grandchildren, Jonothon Shore, Lisa Shore Shoemaker, Larissia Shore, Judy Shore Pope, Nicholas Shore, Daniel Shore, Richard Dula and Michael Dula; her great grandchildren Ivy, Megan, Buddy, Ayriahna, Alexis, Isaiah, Riley, Tristan, Austin, Andrew, Hailey, Joshua, Brittney, Charlie, Caitlyn, Michael Lee and Shelby and siblings Margaret Price, Georgie Miller, and Raymond Corley.
