John Frederick Dunegan, 73, of Cheyenne died March 2 at Whispering Chase.
He was born Nov. 12, 1942, in Great Bend, Kan.
He served in the U.S. Navy for 10 years, and worked at Wycon/Coastal Chemicals in Cheyenne for many years.
He enjoyed traveling and visiting friends.
He is survived by his companion of 24 years, Judy Plummer; an ex-wife, Evelyn; his children, Patrick M. (Rachel) Dunegan of Aplington, Iowa, Eric Dunegan of Cheyenne and Marc Dunegan of Lakewood, Colo.; and three grandchildren, Benjamin Dunegan, Sarah (Matt) Harken and JoAnna Dunegan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Mildred Dunegan; two brothers, Patrick Dunegan and Glen Hannigan; and a sister, Virginia Hannigan.
