Gael May Meyer, 91, of Beaver, WI passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016, at New Care of Crivitz, WI. She was born to the late David and Florence (Gisenas) Clow Dec. 6, 1924, in Saynor, Wis.

Gael married George Meyer August 14, 1943, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Milwaukee, WI. She was involved with 4-H from her childhood and beyond. She was an active member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Coleman, where she taught CCD among other things. She very much enjoyed providing daycare out of her home for many years. She also worked as a waitress at The Hut in Pound and at the Ben Franklin Store in Coleman, WI for many years.

Surviving are seven children: Sandy Fenendael, Dan (Leanne), Larry (Lynn), David (Cathy), Peter, Cathy (Glenn) Buege, Joan (Dean) Campbell;
18 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren with one on the way, five great-great-grandchildren;
and one brother-in-law, Bob (Mary Jane) Meyer.

Gael was preceded in death by her parents, husband, George and her brother and sister-in-law, David and Mary Clow.

Friends may call at the Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, 235 E. Main St., Coleman, Wednesday, March 9, 2016, from 4 to 8 p.m., with a wake service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue Thursday at St. Anne Catholic Church, Coleman, from 10 a.m. until the time of The Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Father Nonito Barra officiating.
Gael will be placed to rest at St. Leo’s Catholic Cemetery, Pound.
