"A child of God who used what she had"

Sister Charlotte Green Roberson was born on May 9, 1912 to the late James and Mary Green in Monticello, Florida.

The Green family moved to Indian River City, FL, (now Titusville), where she resided until she was plucked from the Lord's garden on December 22, 1990.

Charlotte was a Christian and a faithful member of Greater Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was a devoted member of Usher Board No. 1, and served as president for many years until her death. She served as recording secretary for the Brevard County Ushers Union for 28 years. She held the same position with the Ladies Aide Society of Titusville and served tirelessly until her health failed. She was also the president of the Fifth Sunday Union Ushers Guild.

Charlotte touched the lives of those she came in contact with. Her warm and generous smile exemplified the love she carried in her heart for others. She was known as the "mother" of her entire family.

Forever to cherish her precious memory are: a devoted husband of 39 years, Artis Roberson of Titusville; son, Wilfred James Hawkins, Sr.; five grandchildren: Wilfred J. Hawkins, Jr., Gary Bernard Hawkins, Charlene Hawkins Bullock, Douglas Eugene Hawkins and Lolita Michelle Hawkins, all of West Palm Beach, FL; four brothers: Robert L. Green and David Green, both of Titusville, FL, Matthew Green of Port Orange, FL, and Rev. Jesse Green of Hampton, VA; two sisters: Agnes M. Nixon of Titusville, FL, and Surfronia Thompson of Orlando, FL; four great- grandchildren; two uncles: Willie Warren of Ft. Myers and Jimmy Howard of Sarasota, FL; two aunts: Georgia Lee Warren of Ft.
