Glen was the son of Earl. F. and Genevieve McGlone Munson. He was married twice--first to Sandra, with whom he had two children, and second to Rose Lynn Shurtleff West, with whom he had one child. Together, they also reared a child of Rose's from a previous marriage.
Glen graduated from Ogden High School and Weber State University. He worked for a number of automotive shops, as well as Marquardt Aircraft and Hill Air Force Base. He loved hunting and fishing, and adored all his children and grandchildren.
