Sarah Ellen Hardy, age 79, was born July 24, 1936 in Snow, OK and had lived in Hugo since 1978. Sarah was a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. She enjoyed sewing, reading, listening to religious music and reading the Bible. Sarah loved animals, especially cats and enjoyed nature.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth (Hardy) Ludlow, brothers, Billy Joe Ludlow and Johnny Ray Ludlow and sister, Lettie Jean Hardy.

SURVIVORS INCLUDE: sons, Ivan Nelson and Norman Nelson, both of Hugo; daughter, Geri Cooper and husband, James of Oklahoma City, OK; brothers, Roy Ludlow of Finley, OK and Gaylon Ludlow of San Antonio, TX; sister Lucille Ludlow of Hugo, OK; three grandchildren, Nathan Cooper, Sean Cooper and Zachary Nelson; two great grandchildren, Kira and Raya; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins along with many other relatives and friends.
