Burial will be held 3:30 p.m. at Rosedale Memorial Gardens in Payette. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.
She was born Aug. 30, 1929, in Notus, Idaho. She married Robert Todd on Dec. 25, 1946, and they were together for 70 years.
Joan is survived by her husband, Robert Todd of Mountain Home; their children, Beverely and her husband, Bill Telford of St. George, Utah; Jill and her husband, Duane Johnson of Mountain Home; Kathrin and her husband, Dan Cathcart of Condon, Ore.; and Laurie and her husband, Robert Gailey of Farmington, Utah. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren; her brothers, Bob and his wife, Della Schroeder of Payette; and Larry and his wife, Julia Schroeder of Ontario, Ore.; and her sister, June Kessel of Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Richard Todd, who died in 1982, and five sisters.
Joan had lived in Mountain Home for 30 years. She was a housewife and a member of the LDS church. Her family was her pride and joy. In her later years, she loved everyone, and she was loved by all.
