Robert James Fry ("Bob"), age 73, passed away Thursday afternoon, May 12, 2016, at his Kentucky residence surrounded by loved ones. He was born September 19, 1942, in Westford Township, Richland Co., WI. to Clayton & Alice Fry. The youngest child of six.

On June 11, 1966, he married his 1st wife, Sharon Tyler at the Church of God in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, and they were blessed with Five daughters: Michelle, Peggy, Bonnie, Dawn & Sheri. On August 17, 1981, Bob married 2nd Wife, Cherri Emerson in Waukon, Iowa. They were blessed with Three sons: Robert II, Joseph & Jeremy. Bob was a long-time resident of Reedsburg and a member of the Gerber alumni. Through the years he worked at Badger Army Ammunition plant, Hankscraft & Gerber. He will forever be known as a very sociable man and jokester to family, friends, and strangers alike. He was the friend and co-worker who would always make you laugh. Bob loved spending time with his family, friends, and co-workers. He enjoyed several hobbies, such as hunting, fishing, and watching the Packers, Badgers, and Brewer's play. He was always a lover of animals from an early age. He was a kind man, who in later years was softer spoken and loved his family dearly. Bob moved to Kentucky and resided with his caregivers until his passing. In his final years he enjoyed spending time with his family and the various animals on the farm where he lived. This brought him such joy.

Bob is survived by his sister; Audrey (Fry) Treptow, ex-wife; Sharon Schuett, their daughters; Michelle (Chris) Ryan, Peggy (Tony) Dahler, Dawn Laridaen, and Sheri (John) Hunt and 2nd wife; Cherri Fry, their sons; Rob (Amy) Emerson-Fry, Jeremy (Shannon) Fry, Joseph (Jennifer) Fry. Twenty-six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Clayton and Alice Fry, three brothers; Kenneth, Clifton and Clinton Fry, a sister; Lulu Belle (Fry) Carroll, his daughter; Bonnie Fry, granddaughter; Bonnie Hagen, grandson; Logan Laridaen and great-granddaughter, Paige Wylesky.

We would like to express a special thanks to Debbie and David O'Hara for taking care of Bob (aka Pops). For going above and beyond to make him a part of their family and caring for him and providing him with the best quality of Life and an unconditional Love in his later years. The family is planning a "Celebration of Life" for him in the future.
