Richard "Dick" Been, 75 of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015 in Greenwood, Arkansas. He was a retired carpenter, retired from the U.S. Air Force serving during the Vietnam War and the Cuban Missile Crisis and a member of the Greenwood First Free Will Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the Greenwood First Free Will Baptist Church with burial at Liberty Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Friday from 1 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.

He is survived by his three sons, Jeff Been and wife, Lagatha of Greenwood, David Been and wife, Rachel of Alma and Aaron Been of Greenwood; one sister, Ann Kesner of Greenwood; five grandchildren, Forrest and Shelby Been, Cortnie and Logan Been and Nathan Coon.

Pallbearers will be Don Oliver, Larry Ray, Travis Hawkins, David Hughart, James Rogers and Russell Thomas.
