Sarah Ellen Shadwick of Bloomington, born in Rantoul, Illinois, had lived in Bloomington for 42 years, died Thursday in a Rialto hospital at the age of 93. She was a homemaker and a member of the Congregational Church of Bloomington. She was survived by her four daughters, Mary Margarison of Lytle Creek, Alice Golding and Myrtle Anderson, both of Covina and Glenda Brunmier of Bloomington, two sons, Lloyd of Hesperia and Gilbert of Couer D'Alene, Idaho, four sisters, Ida Urton of Santa Barbara, Myrtle Gilman of Las Vegas, Nevada, Gladys Haines of Glendale, Arizona and Helen Burns of Prescott, Arizona, 13 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. on Monday in Montecito Memorial Park with Allen-Gleason Funeral Home Rialto in charge of the funeral arrangements.

She married Clarence Chester Shadwick of Missouri on October 22, 1908 in Los Angeles, California and they had seven children. She died in Rialto, California on November 20, 1978.
