I Micajah Pleasant Senr of Caswell County North Carolina, being of sound and perfect mind and memory (thanks be to God) do, this fifthteenth day of January, in the year of our lord eighteen hundred and thirty three— Make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following, that is to say;
1st I give and bequeath to my Daughter Sarah Pleasant one bed, stead & furniture, on black warnut Chest, one cubberd, one gig, one horse beast worth fifty dollars, one cow & calf, or a cow with calf,
2nd I give and bequeath to Daughter Willey Pleasant, one horse beast worth fifty dollars, one cow and calf or a cow with calf; one bed, stead & furniture, one Beauro,
3rd I give and bequeath to my Daughter Leoisa Pleasant, one bed, stead, and its furniture, one Desk and falling leaf Table, one horse beast worth fifty dollars, one cow & calf, or a cow with calf,
4th I give and bequeath, to my grandson Micajah Graves, one bed, stead, & its furniture, also one hundred dollars out of the shear I give to my Daughter Elizabeth Greir
5th I give and bequeath to my three Single daughters (to write) Sarah, Willey and Leoisa, Eighty acres of land including my houses, Begining at Starling Warren's line, on the east side of the creek, and runing up the creek, for [-?-], then westward to my line,— the said eighty acres of land, household and kitchen furniture, to be equally divided at their discreation, between my three said Single Daughters, also my desire is that my said three Single Daughters have one years support out of my crop,
6th all the ballance of my property, except the Negros, to be equally divided, Between Milberry Henslee Dolley, Miles, Lucy, Aldridge, Elizabeth Greir, and Nancy Benson, and Sarah
7th I give and bequeath to my three sons the following sum of money, to Ruffen fifty dollars, to Benjamin fifty dollars, and to Micajah Two dollars, to be raised out of my Negro property,
8th I bequeath to all my Daughters, the ballance of my Negros, to be equally divided Between, Milberry, Sarah, Willy, Dolly, Lucy, Elizabeth, Nancy, and Leoisa,
And I hereby make and ordain my worthy friends Richard Aldridge and Samuel Greir Executors to this my last Will and Testament, in witness whereof, I the said Micajah Pleasant, have hereunto set my hand and seal the date above written
