Timothy “Ollie” Oliver 58, Wahpeton, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2010 at St. Catherine’s Living Center, Wahpeton. Tim was born December 13, 1951 at St. Paul, MN. He grew up in Wahpeton, ND, with his parents, Charles Frank “Bud” and Bernice (Keeney) Oliver. He attended local schools and excelled in wrestling where he qualified for the ND State Wrestling Tournament. After graduating from Wahpeton Senior High he worked for Wil-Rich in Wahpeton for many years. In between employment with Wil-Rich he also worked for a time with Big Dipper in Wahpeton where he was known to his many customers for his outgoing and playful personality. Tim loved the outdoors which left little time for him to settle down; he took full advantage to what the upper Midwest had to offer for the outdoorsman. He hunted deer in North Dakota, elk and antelope out west and even fished in Lake Michigan. Tim was disabled in a tree accident in November of 2006; for the next year he was either hospitalized or spent time with the Courage Center in Minneapolis. He has lived in Breckenridge the last couple years and in September entered St Catherine’s Living Center in Wahpeton. Tim will be missed by many and especially those who participated with him in his other hobbies over the years such as motorcycling, bowling, softball, kayaking, bow hunting and even skydiving.

Tim is survived by his mother, one brother, two sisters, his four nephews and nieces, and his special dog whom he looked after, Sweibee. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father, Charles Frank “Bud”.
