Nina Nichols Reeves, 87, of Jesup, Ga., died Sunday, March 6, 2016, in the Wayne Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. The Wayne Co., Ga., native was a Baptist and a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, reading, crocheting and painting. She was the widow of James Mitchell Reeves and predeceased by a sister, Marguerite Hodge, brothers, Van Nichols and Ray Nichols.
Survivors are a daughter and son-in-law, Jill (Ashley) Dukes of Jesup, Ga., 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, James D. “Bubba” Reeves of Jesup, Ga., Daniel (Ho Pun) Reeves of Augusta, Ga., 6 grandchildren, John Dukes of Jesup, Ga., Suzanne LeRoux of St. Simons Island, Ga., James D. Reeves, Jr of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., Carla (Bo) Clark of Brunswick, Ga., Dale Reeves and Dana Reeves, both of Augusta, Ga., 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery with David Hodge officiating.
Family will receive friends at the cemetery on Tuesday before the services.
