Rachel Pena Gonzales, age 81 of San Antonio Texas born on March 9, 1934 peacefully embraced our lord and savior on January 13, 2016. She was surrounded by her loving family. Rachel Pena now joins her husband, Rudolph Gonzales, of 54 years until his passing in 2008. As well as, her parents Jesus & Elvira Rivera Pena, and siblings Carmen Bonanza, Charlotte Garza, & Jesse Pena. Rachel loved to play the piano, write poetry, and music. Rachel had a generous and loving spirit. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her children Margarita Gonzales and spouse (Jennifer Parton) and Andrew Rudolph Gonzales and spouse (Rose Marie Gonzales). She is also survived by her grandchildren Christine Ann Mendez and spouse (Richard Daekor Mendez), Andrea Naomi Reed and spouse (Eric Shawn Reed), Anthony James Clemente Gonzales, and Andrew Dalton Gonzales. And her great grandchildren Christopher Daekor Mendez, Audrey Rachel Mendez, Isabella Grace Mendez, Evalette Naomi Reed, Elizabeth Ashley Reed, and Eric Shawn Reed Jr. She is also survived by her siblings Connie Solis, Inez Stierstorfer, and Father Richard Pena.
