Died in Milledgeville (Columbus Enquirer)
A telegraph received here yesterday brings the sad intelligence of Mrs. G. C. McKinley, nee Miss Mamie Goetchius, died at Milledgeville at 9 o'clock, a.m. Her death is rendered peculiarly said, as she leaves an infant a few weeks of age.
Mrs. McKinley was the daughter of the late R. H. Goetchius, and was born and reared in this city. A few years ago she married Mr. G. C. McKinley and has since then lived on a farm near Milledgeville, at which place her death occurred. She leaves two little children, a disconsolate husband and three brothers - one of whom is Henry R. Goetchius, Esq., of this city; Rev. Geo. Goetchius, pastor of the Presbyterian Church at Augusta, is another, and Charles who lives with her family is the third.
Mrs. McKinley was dearly beloved in this city and has many warm personal friends who will feel that they are bereaved in her death. As a young lady she was universally popular and possessed many acomplishments that rendered her attractive. She was a consistent member of the Presbyterian church....
