Mrs. Cathy Lynn Smith Lee 51, of Ash died Friday evening, March 4, 2016 at her home. She was born in Columbus County March 8, 1964 the daughter of Sarah Elaine Smith of Ash and the late Melvis M. Smith.

She was formerly employed with Kirby Sizzling Sirloin in Shallotte. She attended Brunswick Community College and Cape Fear Community College. She was a member of Harvest Fellowship Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She is survived by her husband, James Lee; a son, Cole Jamison Lee of the home; her mother, Sarah Elaine Smith of Ash; a brother, Bennie K. Smith and wife, Sue of Ash. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Amanda Lynn Lee and her father.

Her funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am Tuesday, March 8, 2016 graveside at the Smith Cemetery in Ash by Rev. Danny Harris.

Her family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Monday, March 7, 2016 at Peacock Funeral Home, Whiteville.
